Laura joined the CEdO Research and Policy team in June 2016. Her interdisciplinary research examines equity issues across a variety of systems with an emphasis on mixed and qualitative methods. Previously, she was a faculty member at the University at Buffalo, SUNY where she taught undergraduate and graduate courses, worked on several community outreach projects, and developed a fond appreciation for snow-blowing the driveway. Laura received her Doctorate degree from Oregon State University and her Masters and Bachelors degrees from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She is passionate about education, teaching, and research, and in her spare time serves as an adjunct professor, hikes and bikes new trails, and plays a mean game of co-ed rec league softball.
